Battlecry of Freedom

Lojong from the perspective of Dzogchen

Class with Déwang Pamo and Traktung Dorje

Wednesday, 6:00-7:00 p.m. (German time)
Online, for details see text below

“We're all equal in the sense that we are all enlightened. Then, we're all unequal in our experience of clarity or confusion. In the ultimate sphere of existence there is no difference between people. But in the relative sphere of existence there are relative differences between people and that can function usefully in terms of active compassion.” (Ngak’chang Rinpoche)

As practitioners, we know that cultivating awareness and compassion is the core of practice - but often we do not see clearly how we should actually go about this in a specific situation. The “mind training” of Lojong (Tib. blo sbyong) offers very clear and accessible guidelines.

With the help of slogans, these teachings build a sustainable bridge between formal sitting meditation and practice in life circumstances. The explanations help us to overcome the artificial separation between meditation and everyday life.

The evenings with Ngakma Dewang and Naljorpa Trak'thung will combine practice and teachings. As always, there will be time and space for individual questions. Everyone interested is welcome, no previous knowledge is required.

To accompany the teachings, we recommend Ngakma Nor'dzin's book “Battlecry of Freedom” (https://aro-books-worldwide.org/shared/text/b/book_pb_15_battlecry_of_freedom_01_eng.php)
