Wearing the Body of VisionsTalk with Déwang Pamo and Traktung Dorje
Wednesday 05 June, 6:00 - 7:30 pm (German time)
Drikung Phuntsog Choling
Fleischmarkt 16/1 Vienna, Austria
These teachings are offered for all who are interested to learn how we can transform our being through practices of envisionment and mantra.
As we read and discuss Ngak’chang Rinpoche’s book “Wearing the Body of Visions”, Ngakma Déwang and Naljorpa Traktung will explain the meaning of symbolism as a language which can be learnt and a tool with which we can use to understand the intrinsic realized nature of all beings. The peaceful, joyous, and wrathful awareness-beings (yidams, or meditational deities) are the key to both to personal dignity and to perceiving the dignity of others. These three categories cover every human body type – and in so doing, release us from the bondage of societal sanction with regard to how we appear. “Tantra is the hot blood of kindness. Tantra conjures with the electricity of being: the shimmering voltage that crackles ecstatically between emptiness and form. Tantra is the alchemy of transformation by which we re-create ourselves limitlessly according to the kaleidoscopic pattern of moments that comprises our experience.” Ngak’chang Rinpoche |
