Ngak'chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen are the lineage holders of the Aro gTér, a small family based lineage of the Nyingma tradition. The Aro gTér offers a body of Buddhist practices which is ideally suited for practitioners who want to follow an authentic Buddhist path while remaining involved in a regular life which might include a professional career and raising children. Ngak'chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen have been working for many decades to establish the White sangha in the West and have now more than 60 ordained students. On this retreat they will offer teachings and transmission from the Aro gTér which will provide a taste of what it is like to practice within this lineage.

We are planning to hold this retreat if the Covid circumstances will allow Ngak'chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen to travel to Wien. It seems now very likely that the retreat will happen. In any case participants will have to be either vaccinated, recovered from a Covid infection or show a valid recent PCR test. Details about the Covid rules in Wien (which are typically somewhat stricter than in the rest of Austria) can be found here.
