Silent Sitting and Hiking

Practice with Seng-ge Dorje

December 12
This practice day is open to apprentices, and mentees who have been attending the Battle Cry of Freedom sessions.

Ngkapa Seng-ge Dorje will lead students on a hike to places where students can engage in sitting practice and receive teaching on silent sitting practice. All attendees will wear masks and practice social distancing.

At this time of the pandemic, it is difficult for people to get together to practice. Luckily in Northern California, we have a moderate climate, so it is possible to find places outdoor where we can gather to practice practically year-round.

We can also draw inspiration from the natural beauty of a landscape. We can sit with its presence. We can be with the natural elements and enjoy their movement and play.

While this event is open to interested apprentices and mentees, Ngakpa Seng-ge requests that interested parties send inquiries for the exact location and time of the event.
