Through the powerful practice of envisionment and mantra, we can transform our experience of ourselves, as well as the seemingly seperate world around us. ‘Wearing’ the visionary body of the peaceful, joyous, and wrathful awareness-beings (yidams) is the key to experiencing reality as it is – not only on the meditation cushion, but also in daily life.

Yidams inspire us to let go our our cherished self-image, and experience our realised nature as the vast, open space where form and emptiness dance with each other. Through the practice of silent sitting, we learn to embrace emptiness as the non-dual dancing partner of arising and dissolving form. Yogic song invigorates this passionate dance with vibrant energy and joy, as we realize the non-separateness of the dimensions of existence.

Ngakma Déwang and Naljorpa Traktung are known for their pragmatic and vivid teaching style, drawing from life experience as practitioners in the West. All questions are warmly welcomed throughout the weekend.

“From the perspective of enlightenment, we are symbols of ourselves. As symbols, we can journey into the enlightened textures of realisation through the practice of envisionment.” —Ngak’chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen
