'Sit Down and Shut Up' is a short course designed for those interested in starting, or strengthening, a silent sitting meditation practice. The course will run for 4 sessions over 6 weeks giving time between sessions to try out the methods taught. The course is suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike and will introduce silent sitting and support practices from the Dzogchen series of the Nature of Mind. Learning to meditate is 'the single most useful thing you will ever do' - come and find out why, and how.
Wednesday 13th September - Part 1 - Why meditate?
Wednesday 20th September - Part 2 - Establishing a practice.
Wednesday 4th October - Part 3 - 'Self' discovery.
Wednesday 18th October - Part 4 - Further vision - where do we go from here...
Although obviously preferable, it is not necessary to attend all the sessions and handouts will be provided.
If you would like to know more about the course please get in touch with Mé-tsal on 07505 569680 or metsal.wangmo@gmail.com
