A cup of hot coffee in the morning. Tunes on the radio. Why’s it so difficult to appreciate the little things?

Could it be because you’re stuck in rush hour traffic thinking about the laundry list of items you need to accomplish before the sheer weight of your duties threatens to sweep you up into the street?

You want to lay on the horn, but you refrain, you are trying to be a good person. Maybe just a little horn?

It’s alright. You can have your horn and your goodness, too. Come hang out and sit. Be with your mind and discover what people have been discovering for millennia: When you meditate you uncover a whole lot of space to make your life more workable. Flip the switch from life posing as a series of problems to life arising as a string of possibility.

All Aro gTer retreats are non-smoking events. Smokers are welcome to attend, but in accordance with Nyingma teaching, and Vajrayana Buddhism in general, we require participants to desist from the smoking of tobacco for the entire duration of the retreat – both on or off the premises where retreats are held. Tobacco in any form should not be brought to the retreat.
