Ngakma Shardröl will teach on Chöd, the practice of confronting our fears & transforming them through the symbolic offering of our physical body. We will learn about Ma-gÇig Labdrön, the Tibetan visionary who originated this practice, which involves mantra, song & a powerful visualization, accompanied by tantric instruments (chöd drum, bell, and thigh-bone trumpet). In addition to the outer ritual practice, we will also learn inner Chöd, secret Chöd, & most-secret Chöd: the practice of opening to reality as it is without retracting or controlling, but stepping fearlessly into each moment. Teaching will be followed by empowerment into the practice of Ma-gÇig Labdrön.

Please bring chöd drums, bells and kanglings if you have them.
