Simply by being, we communicate. Everything we think and feel communicates outwards as a subtle radiance, without the need of words. The practices of tactile responsiveness (Thugjé reg-ja in Tibetan) are an aspect of Natural Heroism and this week we will explore this method of finding the innate communication in everything – where wisdom and action are totally interweaved as an enlightened and communicative play.

Discover your natural ability to tune into this subtle radiant communication and through that, experience the innate vitality of all phenomena. With this discovery, enthusiasm – which is called ‘Windhorse’ – will automatically rise and communicate itself as active-compassion. With total awareness, the raising Windhorse will have an effect on maintaining life force and enhance the dynamic drive of any individual.

During the week Lama Bar-ché Ying-rig Dorje and Ngakma Mé-sèl Gyalmo will introduce practices of tactile responsiveness to give you experience of this subtle communication as an entry point to the Teachings of Ling Gésar – Ancient King of Tibet, and Master of Natural Heroism. There will also be teachings on other selected practices from the Gar-tak martial art form and a Tantric Empowerment. In the mornings there will be a practice session including the Four Naljors and yogic song.

Lama Shé-zér Khandro and Lama Namgyal Dorje will teach historical dances from the 17th and 18th century. These dances elegantly demonstrate the subtle communication of our inner being with our surroundings and those within it. When moving in an orchestrated group dance, one moves through space with others – and thus the whole group engages in the practice of awareness in the kyil’khor of connectedness. At the end of the retreat we will engage with the practices of the dances and the Ling Gésar formal dinner.

We warmly invite you to join us on this event of ferocious enjoyment and fearless realism.

No previous experience on these practices or teachings is required.
Teaching is in English. Translation available if needed.
