Ceremony with Ngak’chang Rinpoche & Khandro Déchen

aro-ling-shrine

“ Desire is said to be negative – but compassion is not feasible without it.  Where there is no desire there is no appreciation—no joy—and no real connection with others. The problem with common-or-garden desire is that it is simply too narrow. The desire we speak of in Vajrayana is unlimited and all-pervasive – a desire so strong that it burns away duality. Kurukulla is that flame and she is the key to this realisation. ”

Ngak’chang Rinpoche

Ngak’chang Rinpoche and Khandro Déchen, the Aro lineage holders, will talk first about the nature of empowerment and the nature of desire within Vajrayana and then will conclude the evening by giving the Kurukulla empowerment.
